GW’s 36-credit Homeland Security Master’s degree program can be completed in just 16 months. It provides a comprehensive view of emerging threats and examines security practices in the public and private sectors. Designed for working professionals who want to advance their career, you will develop leadership skills and an in-depth understanding of homeland security issues.
GW’s Career Services Office provides one-on-one coaching, career planning, networking, and resources to help students and graduates explore career opportunities, develop job search strategies, and sustain lifelong career success.
Master’s degree students have the option of studying online, in person, or a combination of both, making the program both flexible and convenient for working professionals. In-person classes are held one evening per week and one Saturday per month at GW’s Education Center in Arlington, Virginia.
